Pixeltje desktop license terms

1. License grant
A valid license term grants the named holder a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Pixeltje desktop application under the selected edition. The signed license certificate is offline evidence of that right and never remains valid beyond the applicable license term.
2. Private edition
The Private edition is available without charge during the beta and permits use by one natural person only for private, non-commercial purposes. It does not permit paid client work, business activity, employment-related work, or work intended to produce commercial value.
3. Independent edition
Each Independent edition payment permits 12 months of commercial use by one individual photographer acting independently. It is not a company license and may not be used as part of an organization employing multiple people. A change to company use requires a Company edition.
4. Company edition
Each Company edition payment permits 12 months of commercial use by the purchasing organization for the number of named seats purchased. Each person using Pixeltje requires an assigned seat. Seats may be reassigned by an organization administrator, but a single seat may not be shared concurrently.
5. Payments and renewal
Commercial licenses are renewed manually with a new payment. A renewal adds 12 months to the applicable license term. Pixeltje does not automatically charge the payment method or create a recurring Stripe subscription.
6. Offline certificates
A signed license certificate can be used without an always-online check. Certificates are valid for no more than one year and may be refreshed while the corresponding license term remains active. Refreshing a certificate does not create a charge or extend the paid term.
7. Restrictions
License files may not be forged, modified, resold, published, or shared with an unlicensed person. Restrictions on reverse engineering, redistribution, warranties, liability, termination, refunds, governing law, and statutory consumer rights require final legal language.
